Here's some of what people have to say about their experiences:
THANKS!! I just got the DVD from skatefarm Thailand. Such great
memories!! I've been telling everyone I've been skating with that they
MUST go! Doing my best to spread the word and show people that there's a
virtually untouched skating paradise out there! Not to mention the
friendly people, the great food, the climate, the adventure...
I would like to thank you for one of the most wonderful holidays we have spent, blending the exquisite culinary tastes of Thailand; the warmth of friendship with Jai, Mai, On and Buddah and their family; the comrade of keen skaters; the challenge of skills to be mastered; the satisfying sensations of exertion; the joy of following a master and seeing first hand the delicacy and dancing rhythms of the stokes; the joys of a massage on weary bodies and experiencing your vision for a gentler world.
Sahana and I had a wonderful time. Thanks for being thoughtful and putting together a package that we could enjoy.
I got to join in the fun! No, no, no, I did not strap on a pair of skates and magically find my sense of balance. But I did bring up the rear on a sturdy bicycle and enjoyed the open road, hiked to the top of a waterfall, biked at sunset through rice paddies, and experienced an epic two-hour journey alongside a truckful of Thai musicians playing at full volume. Eddy is a gifted host and has the enviable ability of being able to make every situation a fun one. Quick plug: If any of you are into in-line skating (or biking, or just going to beautiful untouristy places where you can explore national parks and small-town life), I highly recommend you keep an eye on Eddy's schedule in Thailand.
Hi Eddy, How are you? Where are you now? Received the dvd this morning. Loved it. All of us watched it together. It brought back wonderful memories of the time I spent with u. Say hi to Thang, Jai, Mai, Lak, On, Bud and Jai's mom and dad. BTW i just became friends with Thang on face book.
The EsSkate was great as usual, but pales in comparison to the fun I had in Thailand. :) It was truly an experience that could last a lifetime at a very reasonable cost.
I'm still showing people the photos and video from my trip... It's hard coming back down to earth sometimes...
